Yayu Cafe & Restaurant

Nelly loves this place for breakfast and lunch, as it gives you all the healthy plant-based options, both sweet and savory! Great concept and pretty successful. Amazing selection of hot and cold beverages. Try the mushroom hot chocolate with a salty caramel bar or a beetroot-rose latte.

The Foggy Bean Coffee Company

Heather is a friend of ours. She and her husband carefully roast the beans in town and they won't disappoint! There might be a wait in the morning as they are quite popular! They also carry some bread from our artisan bakery friends 'Summit Bread' in Tofino!

Thay Tea

Welcome to the Darjeeling express! Tea-lovers rejoice. Narrow but deep selection of loose tea.

Huckleberry's Coffee Shop

These guys not only roast their own coffee, but make delicious inexpensive pastry and soups for lunch. Not as hip as the popular places, but top quality. Made with love and we go there frequently to get a snack for the beach on the way out. Open summers only. The cinnamon buns are otherworldly.

Heartwood Kitchen food outfitter

Soul food - Superb spot for your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to sit out back if there is room to soak in that sun! The owner is the former chef of the Long Beach Lodge and the historical building used to be the officer's casino.

Pluvio restaurant

Best fine whining and dining in town. Chef Warren used to work at the Wickaninnish Inn when I did too. Fine human and great chef and we are stoked to have stolen him from Tofino (collectively that is). RESERVATIONS RESERVATIONS!

Floathouse Restaurant

Interesting spot right ON the water. Like to go there for a authentic (and rough) greasy fix and beer when its sunny. Not so nice inside, but a true 'harboury' atmosphere. Beware of the steep ramp leading down to it at low tide! The ribs are my fave, but the Thai crab cake was great too!

Abbondanza Pizza

The very best pizza in town hands down. They import their tomatoes from Italy and use a wood fired stone oven for that authentic taste. Call ahead to take out and yes, you might have to wait a bit during rush hour. One pizza 'can' feed two.

ucluelet brewing company

After years of restoring the old church building to its new glory, Ucluelet is proud to add this prime location to our collective inventory. The setting overlooking the inlet reflects the vibrancy Ucluelet in its core is about. Great beer and a neat choice of small snacks round-off a relaxing spot to meet and greet at the end of the day. Go grab the nook beneath the bell tower if it ever is vacant!

Rhino coffee house

Great coffee and signature donuts and my fave place to get my provisions for a long market day (bacon maple sirup donut), wearing my AHOY BAGS hat in the summer. Once Tofino wakes up, there will be a long lineup in the summer. Its so good, that the RCMP built their new station right next to it! (look, its just too coincidental. Donuts, right? KIDDING!!)

Driftwood Café (Wickaninnish)

The best way to soak in the vibe on Chesterman Beach while having a hot beverage. They also offer beach chairs, so its a win right there! Oh and did I mention the open fireplace! PERFECT in the storm-watching season!

The Pointe Restaurant

It's the Wick - do I need to say more?
But make reservations! Stunning views too - They also used to have microphones outside to pipe the breaking weaves right into your dinner ambience (not sure if they still do).
Very attentive to detail, best service and most elevated dining experience in Tofino hands-down. Charles, the owner of the Wickaninnish meanwhile carved the very exclusive 'Howard's Wine Cellar' out of the rocks beneath the Pointe Restaurant.

Wolf in the Fog

Ok, the food is very good as it should - Chef Nutting is serious about food and used to be the head chef of the Wickaninnish Inn.
You need reservations to enjoy the 'upstairs' whereas the downstairs pub is first come first serve. Fun fact - The building was designed to house a brewery, opened instead as the 'Cedar Corner Art Gallery' upstairs, before converted into it's present form.

Tough City Sushi

The owner Ron (hat) might be eccentric, but his joint makes the best sushi in both towns. Make sure to get a seat outside the back, with expansive views into the Tofino Inlet. Weird and wonderful! I just love the Dynamite roll!

Tofino brewing company

You don't want to miss the locals favourite watering hole! With their staple beers on tab, seasonal variations and experimental brews, this is the place to rub shoulders and spoil the palette! Have a tasting flight and a snack (Pretzel please) or fill up your growler to go to be enjoyed on your deck back at Two Beaches Suites in Ucluelet!

Lil' Ronnie's Beachside BBq

Ah yes! All the meat lovers will appreciate the craftsmanship, which Chef Ronnie Lee dedicates to his wood fired mastery. His joint has been deservingly been crowned among the best 100 BBQ Restaurants in Canada as well as the best BBQ in 2022 - The locals agree! Its a special place with live music in the summer.

Ombré

A coastal extraordinary cookery with small seasonal plates and attention to detail - A homage to Tofino's wide open sunsets and the sister Restaurant to the 'Wolf in the Fog' - The more relaxed, down to earth experimental version you might say? your words - not mine!
