Alongside the studio work, the space features a curated selection of local art, textiles, and jewellery—worth stepping into if you’re interested in how things are made, not just what’s on display.

Salvaged @ The Wreckage

A small, characterful shop centred around reclaimed and repurposed materials, set within one of Ucluelet’s more curious landmarks on Peninsula Road. “The Wreckage” itself appears to have been shaped over time in a distinctly west coast way—less formally built than gradually assembled, using salvaged materials and coastal finds. Its exact origins are unclear, but the structure has long been part of the local landscape, recognisable for the boat integrated into its frame and its ever-evolving use.

Inside, pieces are often one of a kind, ranging from coastal décor to practical objects, each shaped by what’s been found and reworked.

Ucluelet Market (Summer)

Held on the Village Green through the summer, the market brings together a mix of local makers, growers, and small food vendors. Expect handmade goods, fresh baking, produce, and the occasional live music drifting through the tents. It’s as much a social gathering as it is a place to shop—easy to wander through, pick up something small, and get a feel for the local community.
